Shanghai shoppers fill a courtyard surrounded by two- and three-story traditional Chinese buildings adorned with intricate woodwork, peaked eaves, and tiled rooftops. In the center of the courtyard is a large inflatable sculpture of a yellow and white snake and purple and lavender toadstools to commemorate the 2025 “Year of the Snake” Chinese Lunar New Year holiday.
